Tactical Patrol Course (TPC)

The Level I TPC Course is a comprehensive curriculum for patrol officers focusing on weapons techniques and clearance methods for close quarters with small elements. The course will feature fundamentals and principles of marksmanship for both pistol and patrol rifle systems. Techniques necessary for close quarters will be presented along with stringent weapon safety procedures for internal movement and clearance. Students will learn a principle based method which will enable them to to utilize a single comprehensive system for a multitude of scenarios. Students will learn the fundamentals and principles necessary to systematically process threats within interior spaces and apply the most effective, and efficient solution. The Norse system improves the capacity to establish and maintain control during clearance by utilizing superior tactics.
