Breacher 101 | 1 Day


The 8 Hours Breacher 101 Curriculum will instruct students in the full spectrum of breaching operations, from approach to completed breach. Techniques for proper selection, retention, transport, and employment of the Battering Ram, Sledgehammer, and Halligan Tool will be presented. Kit and weapon retention considerations during breaching operations, as well as, safety procedures and additional equipment for breachers will provide advantages to breachers of all skill levels. The critical element of maintaining proper tactics for entry operations throughout the breaching process will be addressed throughout the course.

Breacher 201 | 1 Day

The 8 Hours Breacher 201 Curriculum will instruct students in proper utilization of mechanical tools for breaching problems in restrictive environments, alternate positions, and alternate employment techniques. Students will learn to employ the Ram, Sledgehammer, and Halligan within these conditions along with cohesive breach / entry operations and officer safety procedures. Techniques for breaching from areas that restrict movement and increase exposure of the breacher and entry team will be presented. . The critical element of maintaining proper tactics for entry operations throughout the breaching process will be addressed throughout the course.
* Completion of the Breacher 101 Course is required for enrollment.
